Mix-Ups

Mix-Ups is the 5th episode of the fourth season of Bluey. It aired directly after 'Curse' and before 'Scary Tales Can Come True'. In this episode, a series of mix-ups cause the Heelers' lives to be thrown into chaos. The episode received generally positive reviews upon release.

Plot[]

One Thursday evening, Chilli orders perfume from Amazon around the same time Pat orders spray paint to finish his new mural. Unfortunately, there is a mix-up of the parcels. On Friday, Bluey and her class do a creative project in the Computer Lab, creating their own version of the school's Friday Memo. However, Bluey's version of the memo gets mixed up with the actual memo, getting taken back to the school administration offices.

Meanwhile, Pat is puzzled by what he thinks is spray paint not doing anything with his mural, whilst Chilli is surprised by accidentally spray painting her arms green. Meanwhile, the following week at Bluey's school ends up with something weird happening every day: to start with, none of the students show up on Monday as classes were 'cancelled due to lack of interest', the students all wear purple underpants to school and pick their noses on Tuesday, some of the girls turn up to school wearing pink tutus, high heels, and mustaches drawn on their faces on Wednesday, a food fight breaks out at lunchtime while the Cricket team wrecks the teachers' lounge on Thursday, and the students show up to the yearbook photos on Friday wearing the previous year's Halloween costumes and striking dramatic poses, which, thanks to Coco, wins Bluey's class a free pizza party at Chutney Chimp's Family Fun World, where the students have what Bluey calls, 'The best pizza party in the history of pizza parties'.

Eventually, Chilli and Pat discover the mix-up that occurred with Bingo's help, and swap parcels back. Chilli finally gets her perfume, and Pat ends the episode by admiring his completed mural.

Friday: Yearbook photos taken today. Please dress appropriately. Anyone caught frowning or making an expression of a negative emotion will receive a detention.

Bluey's Memo[]

Monday: School cancelled. No classes today due to lack of interest, running around across frames at home.
Tuesday: NATIONAL WEAR PURPLE UNDERPANTS TO SCHOOL AND PICK YOUR NOSE DAY! Show you care by wearing purple underpants to school(and picking your nose).
Wednesday: Cheerleader tryouts today! Anyone wishing to join the cheerleaders must do the following: 1. wear a pink tutu. 2. wear heavy makeup. 3. have the school cheer memorized. Meet in the gym after school, remember to wear high heels.
Thursday: Cricket practice rescheduled. All players report to the teachers' lounge for early practice. TODAY ONLY. Food fight @ 12:15 in the lunchroom.
Friday: Yearbook photos taken today. Please wear whatever you wore for Halloween last year. Also, whoever makes the funniest face wins a free pizza party at Chutney Chimp's Family Fun World for their class.
